How do you know the difference? -
Here’s a few thoughts to consider:
✅Trust your instincts. ✅Are you giving the process enough time, or are you being impatient?
✅Have you given yourself quiet time to actually reflect + assess if you are moving forward to reaching your goal? A small step is still a step forward.
✅Are you comparing your results with your efforts and not with someone else’s position + what appears to be their efforts?
✅Does it still feel GOOD? The process itself may be difficult and offer challenges, but it should still feel exciting + be what gets you up in the morning.

Tabata training of course! It’s a great way to add intensity to your workout.

Dr. Izumi Tabata, a Japanese scientist, and a team of researchers from the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo, discovered Tabata training.
-
Based on Tabata’s research the group who only worked out 4 days a week for 4 minutes had a 28% increase in their anaerobic system (fast twitch muscles) and aerobic (slower twitch endurance muscles).

You can see a few options demonstrated in my video with the lunges or wide squats. But any large muscle groups moves like squats, burpees, mountain climbers, push ups, etc are all excellent for a quick Tabata training.

Tabata is 8 rounds of exercise - 20 seconds as intense as you can followed by 10 seconds of rest. All done in four minutes - but trust me, it’s a tough four minutes, that makes changes!

So if you find your schedule too busy this week, then give yourself the benefit of four minutes, you have four minutes right?!
