This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of PrAna . The opinions and text are all mine.
It’s funny, my life before kiddos I thought I was busy – professional athlete, training clients, traveling, etc. And now life is just as busy but in a completely different way. Busy with kiddos’ schools, teacher meetings, parks and outdoor adventures have all been the forefront this season. While I loved my life before, I am loving this chapter with little ones as well. With my life changing, my wardrobe needs to adjust to fit my lifestyle. This is why I have been wearing prAna lately.
I want to give a special thanks to PrAna for this sponsored post. These are my own opinions of the clothing line that gives back, and designs clothing for the adventure in your life! Speaking of life adventures, I have had to modify certain things since having kiddos, like post workout time. I have always been a believer in functional, comfy and stylish clothing to wear during and after a workout. I am always prepared for an adventure! Moreover, having little ones, it has made me become more thoughtful of their future. My decisions on selecting a brand to wear has made me become more conscious of the clothing I am choosing. I have been loving the brand prAna for many reasons. They use fabrics that are recycled, sustainable, hemp, and fair trade certified. PrAna leads by example in showing love for the planet. They even have regular programs in place that give back.
These are two of my most recents pieces I selected from PrAna. The Caraway Tight which has moisture wicking and made with compression fabric. Now, let me tell you the compression isn’t going to suck the wind out of you. However, it does have a good snug fit. I am loving this pant. I can wear it with the basic black top or one of my bright colored tops. I definitely love the wide waist band. This lays flat on the waist fitting comfortably so you don’t need to worry about any sort of “muffin top”. It has a hidden pocket and drawstring to tighten if you need to. I found the waist is a perfect fit, so I haven’t needed the drawstring. I am wearing the pant in color Black Birdeye, but it also comes in Cargo Green.
I have used this pant for several outdoor workouts such as bootcamps, yoga, and even yesterday I just did a quick barre workout using the fence! It was just a gorgeous day I couldn’t resist. Watch the full video to see that workout.
I am loving this Rockaway Jacket. It is a honeycomb texture with light fleece fabric. The design on the waist is higher in the front and lower in the back. Thes zip hoodie has a relaxed fit. The details on the back add a nice shape to the body instead of just a plain solid back. I love this color Cast Blue – yes, it reminds me of the ocean! (Although I am not on the Pacific Ocean anymore, it is fun to overlook Lake Washington.) This jacket comes in other colors like: Fiery Red, Gravel, and Black.
The hood even has enough room to fit all my hair! HA! Actually living in the Pacific Northwest now, I have discovered how important it is to have a hood!
Here is a fun video I thought you would enjoy, showing you the versatility and the fun adventures in exercise I have been having in my prAna gear! It is a short video, less than three minutes, but you can get the idea of the versatility of the Rockaway Jacket and the Caraway Pant.
